Scooters differ in size, safety restrictions, licensing and the fees, and body frames. Scooters with higher engine sizes have more power, more torque speed, and of course different engine size also means different size in the scooter itself. In Alberta you do not need a class 6 license anymore to operate a scooter under 50cc. Anybody 14 years or over with valid learner’s license can now experience the ride!

cc stands for cubic centimeter (measure of volume of an engine), so lower cc number in scooters just means smaller engines.
